Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BroCode Live ("the Service", "BroCode"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BroCode Live is an API gateway providing managed access to AI language models (Claude Opus, Sonnet and Haiku) through an Anthropic-compatible API. It includes API proxying, key management, usage tracking, rate limiting, built-in tools, and related dashboards.

3. Account & API Key

• You create an account with an email and password and receive an API key after purchasing a plan.
• You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential and for all activity under it. Do not embed it in public client-side code.
• We may revoke or disable any key at any time for suspected abuse or violation of these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, or defamatory content.
• Circumvent rate limits, usage windows, or other restrictions.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying infrastructure.
• Resell or redistribute your API key without authorization.
• Disrupt the Service or violate applicable laws of India or your jurisdiction.

5. Usage Limits

Each plan includes a rolling 5-hour usage window and a per-minute rate limit. When a window is exhausted, requests are paused until it resets (every 5 hours). Limits may be adjusted to protect service quality. We are not liable for disruption caused by reaching usage limits.

6. Payments & Refunds

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and inclusive of applicable GST. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay via UPI, debit/credit cards, or net banking. We do not store your card details.
• Plans are not auto-renewing - you choose whether to renew before a plan ends. The 7-day trial is a one-time payment.
• Refunds: if the Service does not work for you, contact us within 3 days of purchase and we will help resolve the issue or refund your trial. Refunds for monthly plans are considered on a pro-rata, case-by-case basis where significant unused access remains and a genuine fault exists.
• Access activates immediately on payment; you acknowledge this and consent to immediate provision of the digital service.

7. No Data Storage

BroCode operates as a transparent proxy. We do not store the content of your requests or responses - prompts, messages, images and outputs pass through and are not persisted. We retain only minimal operational metadata (token counts, timestamps, model names, status codes) to enforce limits. See our Privacy Policy.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis and may undergo maintenance that temporarily affects availability.

9. Upstream Providers

The Service routes requests to third-party AI model providers. We do not control their availability, accuracy, or content policies. Your use is also subject to applicable upstream provider terms.

10. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you send and the outputs you receive. The BroCode Live brand, logo and site content are our property and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BroCode shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 30 days preceding the claim, or ₹4,000, whichever is less.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or harms others. Upon termination your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible.
